Earthquake

At about 4:30 a.m. or so I awoke to the house shaking and pictures on the wall rattling. My first thought was thunder. I then realized that the shaking was lasting longer than thunder would. My next thought was an earthquake. By then it was almost over with. At 6:30 a.m. the news announced the epicenter of the quake was in south east Illinois. I am glad to hear reports of no injuries and not much damage. Kay

My children never cease to amaze me. I am constantly learning new things from my children. I would not be the person I am today with out them. I have three children, Ryan 9 , Drake 8 and little Miss Katelyn 6 1/2. Yep all close in age which makes life interesting to say the least. I am using this space to occasionally come and write/type to arrange my thoughts and clear my head. Also to remind me of how precious life is and get ready for the next speed bump in life. I have realized during Holy week just how much Ryan really knows about the Bible. I am so proud of him. Last Saturday night he was an Alter server for the first time. I had to leave Church early because Katelyn became ill. I am sad that I missed seeing him, however I am sure that there will be plenty more times for me to see him serve at Mass.
